Automotive Compatibility Disclaimer

Last updated July 20, 2026

Whether a part fits your vehicle depends on more than year, make, and model. Two vehicles of the same year and model can require different parts depending on production date, engine and transmission codes, emissions specification, and more.

1. Information we may need from you

  • Full 17-character VIN
  • Engine code and transmission code
  • Drivetrain (2WD/4WD/AWD)
  • Production date
  • Emissions specification (federal vs. California, for example)
  • OEM part number and/or interchange number
  • Trim, cab, or body configuration
  • Commercial-truck specification, where applicable
  • Marine engine serial number, where applicable
  • Photos of the part, data plate, or VIN plate where we request them

You are responsible for the accuracy of the vehicle information you provide. Fitment failures caused by inaccurate information are treated as incorrectly ordered parts under the Return Policy.

2. AI guidance is preliminary

Compatibility guidance generated by AI on this platform is preliminary and informational until reviewed and confirmed. Where your order includes compatibility confirmation, the written confirmation in your quote or order documents controls. For orders where it is applicable, we require written compatibility confirmation before the final order is placed.
