• Information you provide: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and the vehicle and part details you share in the chat or forms (year, make, model, VIN, symptoms).
• Account information: if you create an account, your email and authentication details (handled by our auth provider; we never store raw passwords).
• Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type.

• To source the part you requested — including matching you with verified junkyards, mechanics, and suppliers and obtaining quotes on your behalf.
• To contact you about your request by phone, SMS, or email, and to provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Services and our AI matching.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

If you provide a phone number and opt in, we (and a specialist) may text you about your part request, quotes, callback requests, appointment reminders, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.

No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent) will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile data is shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging program (e.g. our SMS platform), strictly to deliver the messages you requested.

We share information only as needed to provide the Services:

• With verified partner yards, mechanics, and suppliers, so they can quote and fulfill your request.
• With service providers (hosting, database, communications, payments) acting on our behalf under contract.
• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@automotor.ai. You can also opt out of marketing texts/emails using the unsubscribe instructions in each message.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
