Parts Warranty Policy

Last updated July 20, 2026

Warranty terms vary by product, supplier, part category, mileage, condition, plan purchased, customer type, and installation method. The exact warranty for your order — start date, duration, covered components, and remedy — appears in your written quote, invoice, or order confirmation, and that document controls.

Nothing here promises a warranty on any specific part; a warranty exists for your order only if stated in your order documents.

1. Typical structure

  • Start date: delivery date unless your order states otherwise.
  • Duration: as stated on your order.
  • Coverage: the specific component sold, parts-only, unless your order expressly includes labor.
  • Remedy: replacement of the failed part or refund of the part price, at the warrantor's option, as stated on your order.
  • Warrantor: some warranties are administered by the supplier or a third-party warranty provider [INSERT WARRANTY PROVIDER DETAILS where applicable] — your order documents identify who administers your warranty.

2. Claim procedure

  • Contact support@automotor.ai or (888) 588-2164 with your order number before removing or returning anything.
  • Provide: proof of installation (invoice from the installer; a licensed/qualified installer is required where your order states so), maintenance records for the period in service, and diagnostic documentation of the failure.
  • Approved claims receive an RMA and instructions. Return freight responsibility for warranty claims is stated in your order documents.

3. Common exclusions (as stated in your order documents)

  • Overheating, lack of lubrication, and coolant or oil contamination.
  • Improper installation, or failure to replace required seals, gaskets, filters, fluids, and maintenance items at installation.
  • Racing, competition, commercial, off-road, marine, or modified use where the part was not sold for that use.
  • Towing, rental cars, downtime, loss of use, and other incidental or consequential costs, to the extent excludable under applicable law.
  • Normal wear items and parts altered after delivery.

4. Transfer and your legal rights

Warranties are non-transferable unless your order states otherwise.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so some limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
