Shipping, Freight & Delivery Policy

Last updated July 20, 2026

Small parts ship by parcel carrier. Engines, transmissions, and other heavy items ship by LTL freight, which works differently than a normal package — please read this before ordering a freight item.

1. Freight delivery basics

  • Freight items are delivered on a pallet by appointment. The carrier will contact you at the phone number on your order to schedule.
  • Residential delivery and liftgate service (lowering the pallet to the ground) are available where offered and may carry an additional, disclosed charge. Without liftgate service, you are responsible for unloading from the truck.
  • Terminal pickup may be available and can reduce cost.
  • Commercial addresses with a dock or forklift are the most economical option.
  • Remote-area surcharges, address corrections after dispatch, missed appointments, storage, and redelivery may carry carrier charges passed through at cost.

2. Inspect at delivery — this matters

  • Inspect the part BEFORE signing the delivery receipt.
  • Note any visible damage, or refuse the delivery, ON the delivery receipt. A clean signature makes transit-damage claims far harder to recover.
  • Report concealed damage to us as soon as discovered, and in any case within 5 business days of delivery, with photos of the part and packaging.

3. Delivery windows

Estimated delivery windows are shown on your quote or order confirmation [INSERT SHIPPING TIME RANGE per lane if standardized]. Estimates are not guarantees; guaranteed delivery exists only when specifically offered, purchased, and confirmed in writing. If your order is delayed, we will notify you, and for qualifying unshipped orders you may choose a revised timeline or cancellation with refund per the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Tracking or shipment status is provided when available from the carrier.

4. Restrictions and special cases

  • International shipping only when separately quoted and approved in writing; the customer is responsible for duties, taxes, brokerage, customs clearance, and confirming import legality. Title/ownership documents are provided where relevant and stated on the order.
  • Hazardous-material limits apply: items such as airbags, lithium batteries, and parts containing fluids may be restricted, require drainage, or be unavailable to ship.
  • Orders may be split across shipments, and items may ship directly from the supplier; your order confirmation will reflect this where applicable.
